- Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie day! I made some cookies with Megan. They are delicious. Here is how you make them:

- 1 Cup Butter
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Brown sugar (We use 3/4 Cup sugar and add some molasses)
- 1 Egg
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 Cups flour
- 1 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Cup Chocolate chips plus more for on the top
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Beat together butter, sugars, and egg
- Add flour, soda, and salt. Mix well
- Fold in 1 Cup Chocolate chips the sough will be stiff
- Drop on a ungreased cookie sheet and put 2 or 3 chocolate chips
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are golden brown
- Remove to cool immediately
- Eat when cool***You can roll into 2 inch logs and freeze
