Agent SNORE: Mission 121918, Cats Game, Part Two

Paul and Thor continued writing Cats Game, I still illustrated,

(Paul) Meanwhile I was searching around the warehouse, soon I came upon three spiders. “It’s your turn Gutter”, one spider hissed. Another spider landed on the ground and scurried away.

“Well, Fly” said the first spider. “It’s just you and me”.

“What are the dogs doing now, Stringy?” asked the one called Fly.

“Nothing much if you count whining, but I did get a autographed book of Diary of a Wimpy Dog“. After a few more minutes of talking I decided to make my move. I scooped up Fly, “Where are the dogs?” I asked.

“Uhhh, three P-p-passages on the left and then s-s-straight”. With that I bolted off.

(Thor) At that moment I woke up. I looked around, I was tied up by the tail to a stone wall. I could only go about three feet. Two dogs were tied up next to me. I remembered the white dog was Lady Flopsy and the black and white one as Lea Dea. I pawed at my collar, I hit the button that released the solution that would dissolve the spider webs. My restrains began to dissolve, and soon I was released. I did that to Lady Flopsy and Lea Dea also. They were free! Suddenly we heard a noise and we turned around, there in front of us was a giant spider!

(Paul) I twisted throgh the boxes after following the spiders directions, I saw a cave. I crept forward. Then I saw a giant spider in front of Thor and two other dogs. I knew it was GIGANTO. I thought for a moment before figuring out what to do. I jumped on GIGANTO and hit his head. GIGANTO began to shrink and I put him in a special box. Thor slobbed me till I told him to stop. Then we went out,  jumped in Thor’s car and Lea Dea drove back to S.A.D headquarters.

(Thor) Agent 12½ and Agent 8¼ congratulated us and put GIGANTO in a cell in the shed with Dr. Boul. Ing. Bal. Then they told us that Lea Dea could shine light and breath glitter, they called her GLOWGIRL. Then Paul came up to me. “I have a mission in Catvill but I will be back in December unless something goes wrong”. Then we both got copy’s of Diary of a Wimpy Dog from Flopsy.  I told Paul “Thank you” and,

“Mission Accomplished”

Agent SNORE: Mission 121818, Cats Game, Part One

Thor and Paul wrote this story together, I illustrated.

(Thor) I was playing with my chew toy when Agent 8¼ called me. “Thor, Lady Flopsy and Lea Dea have been captured!”. When I got inside Agent 8¼ continued, “They have been captured by Baron Von Web”. I whined questioningly. “I don’t know why they have been captured”, Agent 8¼ replied. “But we think that you will need a partner, so we chose Paul”.

I sat down to try to remember who every one was. Lady Flopsy was writer of Diary of a Wimpy Dog, she is famous. Lea Dea was a new recruit for S.A.D. (Superhero, Animal, Department), I do not know why they want her. Baron Von Web was a dropout of S.A.D, he was called GIGANTIO and could turn huge and his fangs dripped a sleeping potion. Paul was a cat and a member of S.A.D, Paul could turn invisible and climb anything, his code name was HUNTER.

(Paul) I entered the room and purred, “Hi, Thor”, Thor was about to respond but I continued,”Lets go now and we can talk in the car, we’ll take your car but I’ll drive”. Thor pressed the button on his collar and the wall slid open to reveal his car. “Oh, Thor, Paul, I put a potion in your collars that will dissolve the most stickiest webs”, called Agent 12½. Then I pressed the go button and we sped through the tunnel.

(Thor) Soon we shot out and were on the highway, Paul almost crashed into ten cars, five houses, three posts, and one plane. I guess he needs more driving lessons then I do. When we got to Baron Von Webs hideout we stopped. I expected a cave or tunnel but it was a large warehouse. We jumped of my car and walked in, it was full of boxes and crates. Paul gave instructions, “You watch for anything and I will try to find Lady Flopsy and Lea Dea”. Then Paul vanished, I watched a mouse run across the floor and through a hole in a pile of boxes, then after a second the pile fell across the floor. I sighed. Cats always chase mice and other rodents.

After about an hour I felt something drip on my head. I looked up, nothing. Another drop hit my eye, I guessed it was raining or there was a puddle of water on the roof. Soon I began to get sleepy and I lay down and fell fast asleep.

To be continued…

Agent SNORE, Mission 120418: Take Me Out of the Ball Game

Thor dictated this story to me. I illustrated it, because Thor is not a very good artist, he gets slobber all over everything.

I was rolling on my back, enjoying myself when alarms suddenly started to blare. I jumped up and raced to the door. Agent 12½ opened the door, “Agent SNORE, we have trouble”.

SNORE is not my real name, it’s Thor. SNORE is my code name and I am a secret agent in the Super Animal Department, SAD for short.  I am also a English mastiff, six years old, and able to speak English and Cat fluently. I can send a shock wave with a loud bark, and if I want, my slobber will stick to anything.

When I got inside, Agent 12½ continued, “We need your help, the evil Dr. Boul Ing Bal is in the county”. Dr. Boul is my arch-enemy. Dr. Boul would harm the bowling pin inhabitants of a city, then disappear for a few weeks so no one would find him, then terrorize another town. Last time we saw him I stuck a tracking bug on him.

“I’ll happily help,” I barked. “Good boy,” Agent 12½ replied. “I knew you could help, Agent 8¼ has the tracker”. I rushed over to Agent 8¼ who stuck the tracker to my collar. Happily I scratched my collar and it opened the secret cave that has my specially designed bed/car. I hopped in and placed my paws on the wheel, “Get him this time SNORE” Agent 8¼ called. Then my car door closed, and I shot off through the tunnel.

I shot out through a cave and hit the highway. By the time my tracker found where Dr. Boul Ing Bal was, I had almost crashed into five lampposts, three mailboxes, and two trucks. I guess I need more driving lessons.

When I saw Dr Boul, he was in his sphere-mobile rolling over all the pins in the park. I drove over and parked in the parking lines, and jumped out of my car. Suddenly the sphere-mobile rolled right toward me! I barked and every tree within twelve feet of me uprooted, but the sphere-mobile still rushed at me! I slobbered my sticky slobber where the sphere-mobile was rolling. Then I jumped out of the way and the sphere-mobile stopped, covered in slobber. Dr. Boul Ing Bal jumped out of the sphere-mobile and started to run, a few of the braver pins captured him.

We placed Dr. Boul in my car. Then Agent 12½ and Agent 8¼ locked him in the shed. I took a long nap, when I woke up I realized

Mission Accomplished

The Ark

Last Christmas, Oma and Opa gave us tickets to see the Ark Encounter over Thanksgiving weekend. Oma and Opa also got a house/hotel for the whole family!  We drove down on Thanksgiving day.

The next day we went to the Ark. After parking we got on a bus to the Ark. Then we started exploring the first floor. It had some animals and lots of food storage bags.

On the second floor, they had more animals, and some real ones. Also Noah’s family’s living quarters. The third floor had things that happened after the flood.

Then it was nighttime. We went and saw ChristmasTime. Uncle Sam and Aunt Lilly treated us ice skating, it was our first time so mom took lots of pictures of us.

Then we went back to the hotel. It was fun, thank you Oma and Opa!

Density Layer Experiment

We made a density experiment were we put some different weighted liquids on top of each other and see what goes on what.

The first time we did it we put in; fake maple syrup, corn syrup, milk, soup, water and rubbing alcohol. The milk messed it up. We think it was too light because it was 2% milk. And we realized the fake maple syrup went over the corn syrup.

The next time we did it we took away the milk and put in the corn syrup first. Here are the colors in order:

  • Purple & Clear = Corn Syrup
  • Brown = Fake Maple Syrup
  • Green = Dish Soap. Blue = H²O
  • Yellow = Vegetable Oil
  • Pink = Rubbing Alcohol

After we layered the liquids we put in the objects. We put in a ping-pong ball, a cork, a die, a pencil, a popcorn kernel, a bead, a eraser, and a ring.

I thought it was neat to see how everything “floated”.

What Book Have I Been Reading?

I have been reading a (‘preciousssss’) classic book that lots of people have read. I put the part I just read in LEGO form.

I will give you a point for each question answered about the book.

  1. What book am I reading?
  2. Who is it by?
  3. What part or chapter did I build?
  4. What are the characters names (1 point for each name plus one character has two names and you get 2 more points if you get the other one)?
  5. What happens when you put on the ring?
  6. And what is the riddle about the ring (+ 3 points)?
  7. What is Your favorite part of the book?

Multiplication Problems

For math I made Napier’s Rods, with them I can do multiplication! If you have a multiplication problems you want me to do (Has to be less then 7 digits by 7 digits) you can put them in comments, I will do them without a calculator.

Air Museum

Friday, Mark had a meeting in Kalamazoo. Daddy discovered that there was an air museum just down the road from his meeting. So we went for a field trip!

The museum had a lot of planes and other space craft. There were three rooms. The first room had planes and some fake hot air balloons. On one there were the first (fake) living things that went on a hot air balloon, a sheep, a rooster, and a dog. There was lots of airplanes, one was very small. There also was a plane called a Tiger.

The next room had space craft like rockets. It also showed some of the rooms in a shuttle or like in another space craft.

The third room had some more airplanes, mostly from WWII and some from WWI. On a wall there was a plane between the last two rooms, it looked like it follows you. It was neat.

There was some rides, they were fun. One was a merry-go-around, and another you were went up slowly then you drop down fast. My favorite were the Airplane Simulator. In the Airplane Simulator you use controls to make the plane go up, down and side-to-side. Andrea and I did it together, and I steered most of the time. The last ride we went on was another Airplane Simulator, but you could not control it.

Megan and I made air presser cars. You pumped the pump then pressed a button then the cars race down the track.

There was a kid’s room with large foam blocks. I made a marble run, it would be nicer if there was a ball…

If you want to see more of what we did, check out Megan’s blog!

Welcome Home

Flopsy’s story: Chapter nine.

Dear Mommy, I love you! I still have not found out what the surprise is, I hope it is something nice! They were coloring a sign that said Welcome home in bright letters. It looked mostly black and white with some blue and gold in it. I am trying to figure out what it means. It has some other words on it like Oma and Opa, but I do not know what it means. Maybe something in another language? I hope I can know soon! Maybe it has to with my surprise! Do you know anything about the surprise? If you do can you give me a hint please?

I am getting tired of writing notes to you, my paws get sore a lot now. The other night Audrey had to put a oily wet liquid like thing on my hands–she called it lotion, it made shiny prints on the floor! They were fun to make.

Maybe Audrey has some colored stuff like it so I can make color footprints! Oh well. I love you and come home soon please so my paws will not get sore from writing so much.

I love you and miss you a lot.

Love,

Flopsy

National Puzzle Day

Do you know that puzzles help engage your mind?

Here is a fun one that I designed using some of my favorite games. How many can you figure out? Please let me know if you tried this and if you enjoyed it 🙂  Thanks!

If you click on the crossword, you should be able to print it.
