Friday, Mark had a meeting in Kalamazoo. Daddy discovered that there was an air museum just down the road from his meeting. So we went for a field trip!
The museum had a lot of planes and other space craft. There were three rooms. The first room had planes and some fake hot air balloons. On one there were the first (fake) living things that went on a hot air balloon, a sheep, a rooster, and a dog. There was lots of airplanes, one was very small. There also was a plane called a Tiger.
The next room had space craft like rockets. It also showed some of the rooms in a shuttle or like in another space craft.
The third room had some more airplanes, mostly from WWII and some from WWI. On a wall there was a plane between the last two rooms, it looked like it follows you. It was neat.
There was some rides, they were fun. One was a merry-go-around, and another you were went up slowly then you drop down fast. My favorite were the Airplane Simulator. In the Airplane Simulator you use controls to make the plane go up, down and side-to-side. Andrea and I did it together, and I steered most of the time. The last ride we went on was another Airplane Simulator, but you could not control it.
Megan and I made air presser cars. You pumped the pump then pressed a button then the cars race down the track.

…GO!
There was a kid’s room with large foam blocks. I made a marble run, it would be nicer if there was a ball…
