I went on a summer vacation, actually a fall vacation 🙂

We went to Yoder’s Popcorn. The popcorn was yummy! There was all kinds of seasonings.  I tried all the kinds except the one. My favorite was cheddar, pizza, and bacon and cheese.  Mark liked the salt and vinegar.

Then we went to E&S Sales and we tried different things.  We bought things for Christmas.

We went to a park. We sat underneath a big huge mushroom with lots of little mushrooms around it.  They were not real.  It looks like it was real, but it wasn’t.  A friend said that it was at first red around the trunk, then it was red with polka dots. When we came, it was just plain. I would like to see it yellow with orange polka dots.

I thank God for school vacations!

I am for thankful for tigers because they are the “lord of the jungle”.  I like their color, black and orange and white. I like them because their knee length are as big as Megan or a little bit bigger. They are as big as me! They sometimes scare me 🙂

I am thankful for otters because they can swim under water while wrestling. They can catch food in the air or in the water. I like watching them sleep inside of a log (at the zoo). They can dive head first and catch some food that is floating on top of the water.

I am thankful for friends who can toss me into BIG leaf piles. I also like leaf rides.

I am thankful for Mr. Jay, my friend who tossed me into the leaves.  I am thankful for Mr. Brice and Mr. Jay for my leaf ride.

I am thankful that Momma let me have a sucker from the big jar. They are special suckers and we hardly get any. I got one because I was the only one home with Momma and she said she would spoil me.

I am thankful for suckers and that Momma spoils me sometimes.

I am thankful for Momma because I love Momma.  She plays games with me.  She lets me cook hard boiled eggs, serve soup and make grilled cheese sandwiches. She sings to me. She helps with stuff that needs to get done. She helps me with my school work.

I thank God for Momma!

I am thankful that God made the frost so that we could have glittery flowers.

I am thankful (and extremely excited) that I got a blog!

Momma and Daddy gave me a test and I got right on the second time. If I pass the test, I am in first grade and I get a blog!

The blog so I can write down what I do in school and everyday.  Momma says that is so that you can see what I am learning and how I am I growing.

Hooray!  Hooray!  I am in first grade!

I was doing my test today.  I had to say the Pledge of Allegience, John 3:16, Daddy’s name and phone number, Momma’s name and the house phone number and our address. I needed to know Oma and Opa’s names and Grandma and Grandpa’s name.  I needed to tie my shoe.

Daddy tested me today.  The first time I tried it, I only got our phone number mixed up. I tried a retest and I passed.

I am in First Grade!  Hooray!
