I went to the park and I found some flowers. They are called Snowdrops. I liked them. I took the pictures on my tummy. Mommy let me use her good camera.
I want to find more Snowdrops and other kinds I think are more better, like yellow primroses and crocuses and take more pictures.
Today is Mommy’s birthday. It snowed! We made snow men. We had fun.
Daddy said that it supposed snow 5-9 inches! YAY! I like snow, especially when it is packing snow.
We went to Colorado on vacation. We visited aunts and uncles and Great Grandma. We went backpacking, it was fun but hard. We also helped Opa clean up the house. I like Colorado!
Octaball Tournament
This last week I went to Lake Ann Camp. I was a Junior. My counselor’s name was Alex. He was a good counselor.
This picture is from the Octaball Tournament. Ocataball is a game were two or more people get into a court with 8 sides like an octagon. You are trying to get the other person out by hitting them with the ball between their feet and their knees. No double touching the ball unless you hit it against the wall and then hit it again. To win, you want to be the last one in. Winner of the previous game serves. Two of the guys in my cabin were really good!
We also did NO hands challenge. You could not use a fork to eat pasta and sauce, colorful veggies for dinner, peaches and brownies. I had a goatee and mustache, quite a big one! when done.
If I captured 4 flags I could destroy the Yeti and his Minoans. I earned flags by reciting memory verses. I learned 1 John 4:7-11. I had to say it the way they wanted me to, like “in your best princess voice” as loud as I could, “like a pirate” or in a whisper. I know the verses really well 🙂
Sharks and minnows is a game were some people are sharks. The sharks are trying to tag the minnows. If you get tagged by a shark you sit down and become a seaweed. Seaweed can not move except to move their arms or legs, but if they touch someone, that person becomes seaweed too!
I liked camp! Next year I want to go again. I hope to find some friends to come with me too!

Our tadpole (the one with front legs) is almost a full grown frog!
P.S. Since he still has a tail stub, I think he is considered a froglet now.
Soon we will have to let him go, because a frog needs to find its fortune 🙂 If we keep him here, he may die. We might not be able to find him enough flies.
It was fun raising him. I will enjoy watching the other one for awhile. I hope to raise more later!

We are raising them for Science. The friend who gave them to us said they are either bullfrogs or green frogs. When we got them the big one had back legs, but no front legs. The little one still does not have legs.
His tail will start to shrink and then he will need a rock to sit on. Then he will go out and seek his fortune!
P.S. Do frogs have fortunes?
Today was my first soccer game for this year. I was defense. My job was to keep the ball on the side away from my goal. It was a hard but easy job. We lost the game, but we will play this team again and we will do much better!
I started Soccer when I was in Pre-k. This is my fourth year in soccer. Except for the first year when Momma learned how to coach, Daddy has been my coach every year. Daddy is a GOOD coach.
I had fun!
* I don’t have a game Memorial Day Weekend (23 May). Except for that week, I have a game every week until the 20th of June. All the games are at Northside Nazarene Church in Elkhart.
