Fun Money
I got this money for my birthday. I knew it was real.
National Tigger Day
Today is National Tigger Day. If you have a costume, you wear that. Otherwise you wear orange, black and yellow.
Tiggers are good climbers, but they are not good at coming down, so don’t climb trees very often. They like to bounce, so be sure to bounce a lot.
I like Tigger and would have fun having a special Tigger Day 🙂
PS. Today is actually make your own holiday Day.
Birthday Cake
I wanted a chocolate cake for my birthday.
Momma made one with yellow and chocolate icing. Mark and the girls added a Lego firetruck to put out all my candles 🙂
Birthday Snow!
Today is my birthday! I prayed for snow on my birthday. It snowed last night and didn’t melt. There is only a little bit of snow and it is warming up, so it will melt fast.
But God sent me snow for a birthday present! Thank you for a great present!
Smiling Tiger Salamander
I like Tiger Salamanders. I got to hold one yesterday.
Tiger Salamanders can grow to about 14 inches. We think this one was about 8 inches long. They eat worms, baby mice and insects and are always hungry! They live under logs and in swampy places. You can find them easiest in the spring, and they come out at night.
Momma said that we can go salamander hunting one night!
Making Syrup
Helping to take the floaties out.
We started boiling sap yesterday. We are still making maple syrup. It is good. It is good on pancakes.
Last time we made 7 cups of syrup. I think we will get maybe 10 cups this time.
Sledding Surprise
Daddy surprised us and took us sledding. It was fun!
Snow!
It snow last night. It started snowing yesterday at lunch time, and this morning we had 6.5 inches of snow!
I helped Momma shovel the snow. While we were shoveling, the street cleaner drove by. He honked at me! He shot snow into the driveway we just shoveled 🙂 Then I got cold and went inside.
I hope it snows again tomorrow. I want to make a snowman and a snow fort. We are going to try to make them today. I had fun outside.
Just a Little
I was cutting some apples to make apple rings. I accidentally cut my finger a little. I asked Audrey to finish and she helped me. I started to eat the apples.
Momma was helping me with school work. She asked if I cut my finger and I said “a little bit”. She told me to look at my finger. It was bleeding badly. She told me to wash my hands and get a bandaid. My first bandaid was Scooby Doo one. It bled through fast!
Momma told me to wash it good again. It was bleeding so bad, Momma had to get a thick bandaid!
My finger is okay. I think it is still bleeding a little when I bend my finger, but not much.
Momma laughed. If Audrey cut herself, even a little bit, she would have wanted a bandaid. I knew I cut myself, but ignored it.
This is the first time that I remember cutting myself 🙂
